Active Maths

This is a fun way to combine maths with PE. Children are encouraged to move through the maths activities in a physical way. Active maths supports skills already taught, encourages partner/group work, consolidates learning and assesses children's knowledge of mathematical areas covered. 

In Blueberry Park one maths lesson a week is timetabled for 'Active Maths' and the children really enjoy taking part.
